Comment: This man is clearly not a properly qualifed clinician and obvioulsly uses the fact that he is in recovery from addiction himself as the prime factor in his clinical work. This man is clearly a sham ! This has all the hallmarks of training by "correspondence course" or MSc by post! Ask to see his qualification and verify their credibility with the BACP or UKCP. I bet they don't hold any water ! Mark

Comment: Interesting comment from Mr Draiton (no qualifications mentioned). I have known Ron for a number of years and can attest to his sincerity, sobriety and results. Mr Draiton clearly puts much store by qualifications, although he appears to deride distance learning - an egregious lacuna in the internet age. I have a Cambridge MA and am an FCA myself. That means two thirds of Sweet Fanny Adams in terms of effectiveness (as many of my acquaintances will tell you). It does however give me the analytical skills to wonder if there is full mental and emotional health in individuals who scribble vacuous and gratuitous insults on the websites of those who are genuinely trying to help others.  I wonder what the evidence is for the clarity of the sham. I couldn't find any but I may not be blessed with the intellectual rigour of Mr Draiton. Or cursed by his bile. On the other hand I can spell, I have sufficient vocabulary not to use the same (meaningless) adverb in two consecutive sentences and I have sufficient good friends to spend my time trying to help them rather than display my capacity to produce illiterate drivel. I have spent nothing like as much time as Ron who has dedicated literally hundreds of voluntary hours helping patients at a treatment centre over the last four years. Very sincerely, Mark old chap, since you've decided we're on first name terms.
